About the role
SGA Dental Partners, headquartered in Georgia, supports more than 260 dental practices, and each one keeps its own brand. Most in-house designers build a single brand. In this role you build many of them, and you hold each to a high standard across digital, print, and physical goods. The role is fully remote within the United States.
This is a hands-on senior role. You will produce high-quality creative across every format and own two processes the whole company relies on: print and swag. You will work closely with the VP of Growth and the Market Managers, and you will have room to take on more creative ownership as you build the systems out.
What you'll do
Own brand execution across the portfolio
- Produce brand creative for individual practices across websites, digital ads, social, signage, collateral, patient materials, and internal communications.
- Keep each brand distinct and on standard at portfolio scale by building and improving the templates, kits, and guardrails that make it possible.
- Work with Market Managers and the VP of Growth to turn brand direction into finished creative.
Design across every format
- Move comfortably across digital work (web, social, paid media, email), print, large-format and signage, and branded merchandise.
- Set the visual and production standard for whatever the work calls for.
Own the print process, end to end
- Run the full pipeline: file prep and pre-press, color management, stock, finishes and bindery, proofing, and quality control on delivered pieces.
- Manage print vendor relationships and keep a documented, repeatable process so print does not become a bottleneck.
Own the swag and branded merchandise process, end to end
- Source, design, and produce branded physical goods, including vendor sourcing, material selection, mockups, sample approval, production runs, and fulfillment.
- Replace one-off swag scrambles with a standing catalog and a clean reorder process.
Run creative operations and your own projects
- Manage your own intake and queue. Prioritize a high volume of requests, set realistic timelines, and keep stakeholders informed without a dedicated producer.
- Maintain lightweight systems (asset libraries, templates, request workflows, review steps) that let creative output scale across a 260-practice organization.
- Coordinate outside creative and production vendors on briefs, quality, timelines, and budget.
Put AI and automation to work
- Use AI tools in a healthy, responsible way to move faster on production, ideation, and iteration, without cutting corners on quality or brand standards.
- Automate the repetitive parts of the creative and production process, such as file prep, resizing, versioning, intake, and handoffs, so more of your time goes to work that needs a designer.
- Build and document these workflows so the whole marketing team benefits, not just your own queue.
What we're looking for
- A strong body of creative and brand design work, with a portfolio that shows range across both digital and print. This usually looks like about 4 or more years of relevant experience, but we care about the work, not the number, and we do not require a degree.
- Range across formats. You have shipped quality work in both digital and print or production, not just next to it.
- Print production experience. You can speak to pre-press, color (CMYK and Pantone), stock, finishing, and working with print vendors from real experience.
- Strong self-management. You can run many projects at once, prioritize, and hit deadlines without dedicated project-management support.
- Brand consistency at scale. You are comfortable running multiple or multi-location brands while keeping each one distinct.
- Vendor coordination. You can source and hold print and merchandise vendors to a standard for quality and timelines.
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma (or equivalent), and comfort picking up new tools.
- A healthy relationship with AI and automation. You already use these tools in your everyday workflow and have good judgment about where they help and where they do not.
Nice to have
- Healthcare, dental, DSO, multi-location retail, or franchise creative experience.
- Environmental, signage, or interior branding for physical locations.
- Motion, video, or web and interactive design depth.
- Photography, art direction, and shoot management.
- Experience building or improving creative operations processes from scratch.
